Over 35 years of experience providing court reporting and transcription services.
By way of a brief background, I have 35 years of experience providing court reporting services in court (both State and Federal), depositions, arbitrations, and hearings with rough draft, daily, expedited, and regular turnaround.
I am a Certified Realtime Reporter, Registered Professional Reporter, Certified Shorthand Reporter, and Past Legislative Director of the Massachusetts Court Reporters Association.
I service Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.
I understand the importance of every word.
As a certified court reporter, I have the ability to listen to audio recordings and write up to 300 words per minute.
On the first pass with the audio recording, I take down the proceeding on my stenographic machine, taking the time to stop and isolate the channels where there are troubled spots, i.e., soft voices, cross-talking, etc.
After the audio is taken down on the writer, I check the rough transcript against the audio for a second or, if needed, a third time.
I then do a final proof of the transcript.
